Hello! To all of you out there contemplating lapband weight loss surgery, I have been in your shoes!
I went to Mexico all alone for my lapband surgery and everything went just fine. Looking back, it would have been nice to have gone with a small group of likeminded people, feeling more at ease with the comfort of knowing that I wasn't alone.
That's me, Laurie, on the left and below before Lap Band surgery.
A the time I really didn't want to discuss my plans for lapband surgery in mexico with anyone, except for my husband. I did extensive research before I made an educated decision, and I didn't want to hear a lot of negative comments. I didn't want anyone trying to talk me out of it!
What I wanted was to have my life, my health, my energy, my looks, and my happiness back ! And I knew this was the only chance I had at accomplishing that! I could not do it on my own! That's me with my family below over 90 lbs. lighter!! I weighed 215 lbs before surgery and 4 years later have kept the weight off at a fabulous 125 lbs!

This is me again on the below and to the right with my fellow friends and after Lap-Band surgery in Mexico by the time these pictures had been taken.I was over 90 lbs lighter!!
To finally have my health, my energy, my looks, my happiness, my life back! Lapband Surgery made it all possible for me to look forward to decades of time with my family that I might have missed out on otherwise.
